Daytona Beach, FL (July 3rd & 4th, 2022) – Onside Entertainment and Torneos, leading companies in the sports entertainment industry partnered up with NASCAR to produce Daytona Soccer Fest. This never before seen Event brought World-Class Entertainment, Professional Soccer, and Freestyle Football Competitions to the World Center of Racing.
For the first time, a professional soccer field was constructed in the infield of the iconic venue, home of The Great American Race – the DAYTONA 500. The natural grass field hosted a series of events, including a showdown between Colombian soccer giants Millonarios FC facing América de Cali. An official NWSL league game between the local favorite Orlando Pride versus Racing Louisville. A Legends game featuring the best soccer players from around the world and the World Freestyle Football Association presented the first-ever U.S. Open.
Soccer Fest also showcased an All-star cast of music artists including Grammy Award winner Rauw Alejandro, Hip Hop sensation Chance the Rapper, and Latin artist Adassa. Additional activities included Toyota thrill rides, TeqBall Matches and a fishing tournament in famous Lake Loyd.
